Erick Estrada’s chance visit to Edmonton, while his brother was studying at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), became an eye-opening experience he never expected. His vacation was at the same time as Edmonton’s annual Heritage Festival, and the showcase of diverse cultures and arts captured his heart. Edmonton’s warm and open-minded community made him feel right at home, and he discovered a unique blend of big city opportunities with a small town sense of belonging.
Erick has called Edmonton home for the last nine years and is currently the Executive Director of the Alberta Avenue Business Association. His fondness for Edmonton is a reminder of our city’s charm – where cultures unite, creativity flourishes and everyone is welcome.
