Why Edmonton Mini World Cup

A men’s soccer team representing Fiji poses together wearing medals, with a trophy and flag.

“This tournament portrays the inclusion and how the communities are integrated through soccer. It doesn’t really matter if they’re from a different country… at the end, we are the same.” Lucio Rivera, Team Mexico.

Edmonton’s Mini World Cup celebrates soccer skills and cultural diversity, bringing together both fans and players.
